 Andrew's name has become synonymous with this beautiful area of south Cornwall which inspired him when he returned to Cornwall and revisited his childhood family walks after leaving Central St Martins School of Art in London. Since then Andrew has returned time and time again to document the changing light and scenery of this captivating, Cornish idyll.
Cornwall Open Studios has rapidly grown to become a major showcase for some of Cornwall's leading artists and invites art lovers and collectors into the very hub of the artist's creative process. Andrew has chosen this platform to launch his exclusive new collection celebrating 20 years of painting The Helford. 'Paintings of The Helford, 20 Years On' will showcase some of Andrew's most challenging work of this area. It sees him painting on large canvas within the environment as well as his little treasure-like pochade pieces which all capture his love of both painting and of place. During the course of the Open Studio event, Andrew will be on hand to chat about his work and his process and there will also be painting demonstrations.
